Terms of service

These terms apply to the use of LayerPulse, a service provided by QaaS Consultancy B.V. (“QaaS”, “we”). By using LayerPulse, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

LayerPulse is an online platform that makes your Microsoft Fabric and Power BI estate readable: it connects costs, usage, quality, and governance, and generates documentation. The connection to your estate is read-only, made through official Microsoft APIs.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate, for securing your access, and for reporting any unauthorized use immediately. You may not use another person’s account without permission.

3. Subscription and payment

• LayerPulse runs on a monthly subscription (Pro, Pro+, or Enterprise), billed through our payment provider.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are given for a period that has already been paid and partly used.
• We announce any price changes at least 30 days in advance.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use LayerPulse for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or sell or distribute the service without our permission.

5. Intellectual property

QaaS owns LayerPulse and all underlying software and functionality. You retain ownership of your own data and of the documentation that LayerPulse generates for you.

6. Liability

LayerPulse is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Termination

You can terminate your subscription at any time. On termination, your access to the service ends; we delete your data in accordance with our privacy policy.

8. Changes

We may amend these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or within the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Zeeland-West-Brabant district.
